Obituary of Marilyn Venables

The family of Marilyn announce the peaceful passing of their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on March 23, 2019. Marilyn passed away at Sunparlor Nursing Home just before her 87th birthday. Predeceased by her husband Harold (2018) and parents Alfred and Meridia Evans. Loving mother of Bob, Dave (Judy), Deb (John 2018), Lea (Archie 2016), Harley, Don (MaryLou), Mike (Dana). Grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 17 and great-great grandmother of 2. Marilyn worked as a switchboard operator in Everett, Alliston and Windsor. Marilyn loved all animals and even fed the skunks on the back porch of their home on Pike Road in Amherstburg. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585). A celebration of life for Marilyn and Harold will be held at a later date. Her family would like to thank the staff at Sunparlor Nursing Home for the wonderful care shown to her over the past year.
