Obituary of Robert David Hayes

Robert was a born engineer who lived his life with ingenious determination and great integrity and worked for 35 years at the Town of LaSalle. His many cohorts and friends enjoyed Bob's wit and humor and his great story telling which knew no bounds (and to which no one could get a word in edgewise). Everyone he met was impressed by his lively conversation and joy for life. He adored his family and friends, sometimes rousing them with Irish tunes on the harmonica. Robert's kindness and gentlemanly persuasiveness will be missed by many he cared about and his generous spirit will never leave anyone he knew. We say goodbye to a Prince. Much love from Anne, the family and friends that loved him. Roberts achievements were brilliant and amazing, although they were never enough for him. Robert was the son of St. Clair and Agnes (nee LaPointe) Hayes. Dear brother of Paul, Gerald and the late Stephen. Bob is the stepfather of Michael, the late Jennifer and Kristina Pancerny and father of Collin and his wife Logini and Jonathan Hayes. He is the grandfather of Nicholas Caliwliw, Ethan, Dylan and Bryan Pancerny and Tiernan Hayes. Robert was married to Catherine Anne Wickett. Brother-in-law of Elizabeth and Steve Davies and Margaret and Pierre Faubrujon. "Much love to Robert from Anne for being such a good fella for many years!" Cremation has taken place.
