Obituary of John Michael Knott

Passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side. Loving husband, best friend and soul mate of Lee (nee Tilson) for 19 wonderful years. Cherished father of Michelle Bilton (Corey), John Jr. Knott and Katie Knott (Matt). Grandfather of Dylan, Julia, Aiden, Riley and Evan. Dear brother of Mary Anne Doyle (late Fred, 2011), Tom Knott (Carolyn) and Joe Knott (Margie). Brother-in-law of Howie Tilson (Eleanor) and Marlyn Drouillard (Fred). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear son of the late Bill and Kay Knott. Adored son-in-law of the late Ed and Elva Tilson. John will also be missed by his cat, Molly. John worked in the Bearing Industry for 40 years. After 24 dedicated years of service with BDI Canada, John retired as Branch Manager. John was and avid golfer and member of the Kingsville Golf and CC for 25 years. He will be dearly missed by his golf family, especially his "Skins Buddies". John was loved and respected by all of his work and golf families. Also, John was an avid fan of the Maple Leafs and the Lions. At John's request, cremation and a private family service has taken place. A special thank you to the entire care team at Windsor Regional Hospital - Met. Campus, ICU and 4 West, for your care and compassion for John. Memorial donations may be made in memory of John to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society.
