I wish to express my sincere sympathy to Joan and family in the loss of Clare, he was truly a motivated person, who could take charge of any situation and see it thru' to the end. Jim and Susannah and family: I am so sorry to see in today's Toronto Star the notice of your father's passing, Jim. I met your parents a number of times when they would drop by the office. They always struck me as the finest people. I know how difficult this time is for you and your family, especially your Mom. I'm glad you have loved ones to lean on to help you through these sad weeks and months. My deepest condolences to you and your family. I hope in time your happier memories of your Dad will comfort you. Warmest regards, Kirsten

Joan and family. Debbie and I are so sad to hear about Clare. We worked together for a long time and he taught me a lot. It's with a heavy heart that I heard the news today. But I'm remembering the very special times we had together over the years and the many laughs we shared. He was a character to be sure..always happy and upbeat. It was a privilege and an honour to have had him in our lives.

The members of my Kinsmen Club and K40 Club of St. Albert were deeply sorry to learn of Clare's passing. Clare served as President in the 2nd year of our Club's existence (65/66). His contribution during our formative years as a Service Club was indeed significant. He was highly respected. To Joan and family we extend our sincerest sympathy. God Bless. Bill, on behalf of our Clubs.

Our thoughts go out to you all at this sad time. The fond and funny memory I have is when Uncle Clare performed his cigarette trick and we were all amazed around the dinner table. May he Rest In Peace and we hope the brothers are laughing together again. Paul,Lisa & Jack
