Obituary of Alice Eleanore Kane

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Alice on April 19, 2018 at 83 years of age. Loving mother of the late Marc Spezowka (2016) and Selina Maceroni (Benny). Grandmother of Nicholas Maceroni. Dear daughter of the late Eleanore (nee Couvillion) and John Kane. Loving stepdaughter of Alex Myers. Caring sister of Judy, Jimmy and Margaret Kane (all predeceased). Very special friend of Joan Hames, Debbie and Michael O"Conner, Lynda Lucier, Stefe Cerjanec, her brother Willie Cerjanec and Lucy Warnock. Alice worked at Hiram Walkers and she was also a cook for the priests at Assumption Church. In her later years, she loved working alongside her son Marc at Riverside Place, a private student residence. Alice was the secretary and Marc was the manager. We, her family and friends, would like to thank Alice"s neighbors for all of their kind gestures of help enabling Alice to stay in her home. Also, thank you to the compassionate care from the staff and doctors at Windsor Regional Hospital - Met Campus. Cremation has taken place.
