Obituary of John William Thonre

Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital " Met. Campus on March 25, 2018 after a courageous battle. Beloved husband of June for 54 years. Loving father of the late John Jr. (2005), Kelly Menard, Victoria Thorne and Patricia Cunningham (Roy). Cherished Papa of Patrick Bazinet, Eric and Lauren Cunningham, Michael and Andrew Menard and several great grandchildren. John was retired from Chrysler after 32 years. He was also a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. # 143 as well as the Moose Lodge. A special thank you to Jill, Wendy, Dr. Magic and the entire healthcare team at WRH - Met. Campus, ICU for all our your care a support for John. Memorial donations may be made in memory of John to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Windsor-Essex County ALS Society. At John"s request cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
