Obituary of Sharron Loma

After a courageously fought battle with cancer, it is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother. She is now reunited with her best friend and Mother Rita Monminie (1983) and her father Leo Monminie (2010). Stomp, as she was known, was devoted to her children, Kelly Loma and Chris and Kirsten Loma and she absolutely adored her grandchildren, Owen and Oliva Loma. She will be missed terribly by her Sarnia family, beloved sister Tami and husband Dean Capern, along with their children Greg Southam and Brogan Capern and fianc"e Joel DesChenes. Survived by her Aunt Nancy Steen and Uncle John Fox as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Fondly remembered by Bill Loma, Ken and Bev Loma, Barry and Lyle Loma. Sharron lived in Comber her entire life and loved a cold beer, spending her time with her grandchildren, watching cooking shows, and putzing in her garden. She will be lovingly remembered by many friends and neighbours, especially Ray and Shelley Waite. A celebration of Sharron's life took place on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Comber Legion Branch 241 from 2-4pm. Memorial donations can be made to the Comber Legion Branch 241 Building fund or the charity of your choice in her name. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
