Obituary of Harold Richard Venables

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather after a brief battle with cancer. Harold passed away at Erie Shores Hospice, Leamington on Wednesday January 24th at 83 years of age. Loving husband of Marilyn (Evans). Dear father of Bob, Dave (Judy), Debbie (John Inglis), Lea (Archie Labombarbe 2016), Harley (Cindy), Don (MaryLou), Mike (Dana). He will be greatly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Harold was born in Alliston, Ontario and moved with Marilyn and their 7 children to the Windsor area before settling outside of Amherstburg. Harold retired from General Chemical as Class A/Diesel Mechanic. Harold loved all animals from birds, squirrels to the racoons that came to the back window each night for their treats, during their 32 years living on the Pike Rd in Amherstburg with Jellystone campground behind them. As per Harold"s wishes cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the staff of Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington for their compassionate care shown to Harold and his family.
