Obituary of John H. Ingram
INGRAM, John "Jack" It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John "Jack" Harvey Ingram on December 13, 2017 at the age of 105 years. Jack was born in Calgary, Alberta and lived in Windsor for 94 years. He owned Ingram's Meat Market from 1934-1964 and later J.H. Ingram Furniture Store. He is survived by sons Jack (Marie) and Rick (Artis). He was predeceased by his dear wife Nellie (1985) brothers Garner, Bertram, Ross, Willis and Maxwell and sisters Beryl, Doris and Grace. John has five grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, five great-great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jack enjoyed dancing, golfing and playing bocce. He spent many winters in Fort Myers, Florida. The family would like to thank the staff at Kensington Court Independent Living and the staff at the Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Centre, Dr. Y. Emara Centre, 3 North and 3 South for the kindness given to our father. Honouring Jack's wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1525 ON-3, Oldcastle, on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 1 p.m. Cremation arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
