Obituary of Forrest Lee Elmslie

The family is sad to announce the passing of Forrest after a long battle with cancer. Forrest was the only child of the late Forrest and Barbara (nee Wood) Elmslie. He will be missed by his wife, Janice (Maclean). Loving father and grandfather to Melanie Elmslie and James Mazak and their children Kylan and Ainsley of Calgary, Forrest Lee Elmslie Jr. of Moose Factory and Ryan and Rachelle Elmslie and their daughter Ella of LaSalle. Special friend of Duane Hemphill. Forrest was the past owner of Barbara Wood Ltd. and more recently For-the-Birds. Special thanks to Dr. Rasma Gupta, nurse Heidi, all the wonderful staff at Windsor Regional Cancer Centre and the VON Nurses, especially John and Matt. Also, thank you to the caring staff at the Dr. Y. Emara Centre-Palliative Care, where Forrest spent his final days in comfort and peace. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
