Obituary of Roy Stables Halford

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Roy on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the age of 91 years, and a bit. Cherished husband of Rose Ann Halford, having shared almost 41 years of marriage together. Born in the U.K. Roy had many adventures and traveled to Canada in 1957, where he stayed and made it his home. Loving son of Frederick and Ellen Halford. Dear brother of the late George (Eileen) Halford. Roy will be missed by nieces and nephews Roger (Anna) Halford and Sharon (Al) Greenwood. Roy was a skilled lithographer and a proud former member of the 84 R.C. Legion Branch. He served many dedicated years of service as a World War II Veteran and a HRM British Army Corp. As per Roy's wishes, Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585) Donations in memory of Roy are welcome and appreciated to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County - Erie Shores Campus (Leamington).
