Obituary of Patricia Leigh Barash

On Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 at the age of 77 years old, Patricia Leigh Barash (nee Paterson) passed away peacefully. Survived by loving husband and best friend of 51 years Louis "Junior" Barash. Daughter of the late Alex and Mary "Queenie" Paterson. Daughter-in-law of the late Louis Sr. and Della Barash. Loving mother of Patti (Ron Shaw). Proud grandma of Alysia Banner (Jordan). Cherished grandma of her fur babies Cooper, Leia and Rufus whom she adored to pieces. Long-time best friend of Sylvia Daniel. Beloved sister of Lyn Paterson (Jerry), Bruce Paterson and the late Ross Paterson. Beloved aunt of Brenda Stiers (Al Durocher), Sandy (John Bolton), Sheila Stiers (Peter), Debbie (Pierre Blain), Tracy Paterson (Mark) and Alex (Nelly Paterson). Beloved great aunt of Tilly and Ella Paterson. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbours. Patricia retired after 35 years at the Government of Canada Assessment Office. A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at WRH-Met Campus & Ouellette Campus for the care of Patricia. If you wish to donate to Heart & Stroke Foundation in her honour it will be greatly appreciated. As per Patricia"s wishes, cremation has taken place.
