Obituary of James Quarrington

"Heaven has another Hell raiser" August 3, 2017, God decided enough is enough! Good-bye gentle soul and great guy. Jim is predeceased by his parents Helen and Charles "Chuck" Quarrington. Jim leaves behind a very caring, loving sister and a devoted, protective brother-in-law, Judy and Mario Iorio, two very caring nieces and their very supportive husbands, Julie and Nick Rumfeldt and Beth and Bryan Taylor; and his everyday joys, four of the "bestest" great-nephews he could ever ask for, Charlie and Mitchie Rumfeldt and William and Russell Taylor, you made his days so much brighter. There are also surviving relatives in Canada and the United States. Jim"s sense of humour filled a room and he will never be forgotten by relatives and many friends. Jim"s wishes were for cremation and a private family service, which has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date. A sincere thank you to family and friends for providing Jim with your support and friendship. You meant so much to him. THANK YOU to all the physicians and the entire staff in the ICU, Windsor Regional Hospital " Met. Campus for be angels. Each and every one of you made up a "team" of caring, compassionate, professional, dedicated, hard working employees who teamed up so closely together to help Jim get over all of his speed bumps, and there were dozens, until the day God said....."thank you wonderful folk, but now it"s my turn". Jim loved you as family. There was a unique group of nurses, respiratory therapists and physical therapists, who really knew how to make not only a patient, but also the family, feel better about the circumstances. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! Thank you to CCAC, St. Elizabeth (Bernadette always made the right decision and Heather always knew exactly what to do) and Bayshore for the never ending compassionate care. Thank you to Trina, who stumbled upon us one day like a gift from God. Thank you to Vital Aire for always seeing that Jim had the breath of life. A special thank you to Dr. Anees for being an amazing physician and true friend. And to anyone omitted, you know who you are, we thank you for making his life a good one.
