Obituary of Robert Thoms

It is with profound sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Bob on August 12, 2017 just short of his 86th birthday. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 66 years, Lois (nee Batstone). Caring father of Victoria, Craig (Lynn), Christoper (Linda), Cameron (late Michelle) and Wendy. Cherished grandfather of Robert (Anna), Melanie, Jenny, Mandy, Michael, Richard, Jeramie, Courtney, Kristen, Justin, Matthew and Rebecca. Also survived by many loving great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bob is survived by his sister, Sandra and is predeceased by his brother Michael. Bob was a loyal employee with the Windsor Board of Education for 37 years. He also was an avid fan of "Nascar". The family would like to thank Cameron and staff at W.R.H " Ouellette Campus, I.C.U. for their compassionate and loving care for our Dad, Papa and Great Grandpa. At the request of Bob and his family, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
