Obituary of Maria Smith

Passed away peacefully at her home in Amherstburg surrounded by her loving family and friends on August 7, 2017. Loving mother of Tyler and wife Cindy and Felicity Amanda and husband Ryan. Special Grandma of Oden, Ajax and Winter Smith and Atlas Montgomery. Ria was an active member of the Amherstburg community. She has made many fantastic friends in her last 30 years through her business, Jewellery by Design, and her involvement in the community. Ria loved to travel, she was an avid gardener and thoroughly enjoyed entertaining. Ria will be greatly missed by all whose lives she has touched. At Ria's request, cremation has taken place. An open house memorial celebration will take place on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Ria's home, 223 Dalhousie St., Amherstburg from 2-6 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
