Obituary of Anthony Troy Tony Heavens

Anthony Troy Heavens "Tony" Tony passed away peacefully on July 17, 2017, at the age of 88. Loving husband and best friend to Edith (Allen). Predeceased by Gwen Heavens (1996). Devoted father to Amanda Crowley (Ben), Mark Heavens (Linda), Scott Heavens (Tracy), and extended family Brad Allen, Tim Allen (Sharon), Jody Williams (Don), and Scott Allen (Heather). Adored by 12 wonderful grandchildren. Brother of Pamela Sheppard. He was the owner and operator of Specie Sales Limited. Tony was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 594, for 40 years, a proud member of the Windsor Model Yacht Club, and many years involved with Windsor Minor Hockey. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585). A Celebration of Tony's Life will be held July 30th, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion 594 from 12 noon until time of Memorial Dinner at 1 PM. Donations can be made to the Windsor Essex Humane Society, War Amps, or charity of choice.
