Obituary of Michael Walker

The life of Mike exemplified selflessness. He loved deeply, yet quietly. It was and will be forever returned by many. Mike was the better half of Denise. Their"s is a love story, a story of never-ending love. The depth of the mutual "Father-daughter love" shared between Mike and Katie DEFIED any blood line. Her Kris " his top chef and son-in-law. Mike"s giving heart embraced Tommy "as a son" always. His beloved daughter Shannon and her children; Callum, Aliya and Brooke will miss him dearly. His son Chris and his family will carry on the Walker name. Mere words will not describe the undying love that Grandpa shared with Brody, Lilly and Tate. May that be their comfort. Fran, Ken, John, Lynn, Babe, Martz, Nancy, Chris, Paul, Kathy and Michael and Fay were his true brothers and sisters. His nieces and nephews often received his special attention. Ona was his favorite aunt. Lynn now his Godmother " Amen. The neighbours of McEwan Ave. and the West Gate Public School knew a true friend. The brothers and sisters of Parks & Rec. Windsor were cherished additional family members of Mike"s. To remember and honour him one must do a good deed secretly, as he did often. Rest in peace in peace my beautiful Husband. Friends and family will be received on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church " Holy Name of Mary Campus, 711 McEwan Ave., Windsor from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, non-perishable goods are requested to be brought to the Church on Monday for the St. Vincent de Paul Holy Name Conference Food Pantry.
