Obituary of Laura A. Drake

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Wife of John Drake. Loving daughter of Ann Matheson. Mother of Ryan (Meg) Drake. Grandmother of Addison and Dax Drake. Dear sister of Lisa (Mike) Cafferty, Megan Matheson, Ian (Michelle) Matheson and Betsy (Michael) Carosella. Fun and energetic aunt of Matthew and Liam Cafferty and Ann-Marie, Cole, and Emma Carosella. Will be missed by Pat Drake, Ken and Tammy Scott, Linda and Paul Nagorsen, Michael and Barb Gaughan, Chris Gaughan and Laura Krug and Ken and Edmee Drake. Aunt of Taylor, Samantha, Gage, Jailyn, Loni, Kirsten, Jake and Sarah. Also missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Laura leaves behind her best friends Branka Stewin and Marguerite Krumm as well as her best buddy Seamus. At Laura's request cremation has taken place and there will not be a formal service. Friends will be received by family at The Other Place, 1395 Walker Rd. between the hours of 4 and 7 on Thursday, July 13, 2017 to celebrate Laura's life. Interment will take place at a later date with family. In honour of Laura's generous spirit, please consider an act of kindness in her name. "I give you this one thought to keep.
