Obituary of Lois Wolff
Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital " Met. Campus on May 4, 2017 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her beloved husband George Gunther Wolff (1995). Loving mother of Adrian Wolff and his wife Mary Ann. Cherished grandmother of Adam David Wolff and Kirsten Marie Wolff. Survived by her sister Xenia Ayliffe and her niece Gillian Ayliffe. Predeceased by her parents Lt. Cdr. Philip Hales Pleydell-Bouverie and Olivia Beth Maclachlan. Lois loved horses and dogs. From the time she was a young girl in England through her time married to George and living in Canada, horses were a huge part of their lives. Owning and managing Radnor Stables on Huron Church road from 1964 through 1995, when George passed away, was a passion that could only be fully appreciated by other "horse people". Having had to recently give up her beloved dog Morgan was devastating to her, but she remained stoic. Special thanks to her lovely friends; Janet, Pam, Chris, Gail, Bernadette, Becky and Lynn. Also to her neighbour Janet, thank you. Special thanks to Dr. Chevalier and her lovely compassionate staff as well as all the nurses on the 6th floor at W.R.H. " Met. Campus. You all made a difference in Lois" life and kept her going as a fierce, independent woman. In lieu of flowers, please consider directing donations to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society in her memory. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
