Obituary of John Scott McGregor

Passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Lorraine by his side at Hospice of Windsor-Essex County, Windsor, Ontario, Canada on Monday, March 20th, 2017 at the age of 79. Son of the late Stan and Ona McGregor of Sydney, Australia. Survived by his brother Ian and sister-in-law Anne of Smith"s Lake, Australia, nephew Robert and niece Ashleigh. Brother-in-law to the late Garth Lawson (Jean) of Vancouver, B.C. as well as nieces Julie and Debbie. Born in 1937, John came to Canada in 1964 where he began his long employment with Via Rail holding various positions with Management and On Board Services. He will be sorely missed by many friends and family around the world. A special thanks to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, VON Services and the Hospice of Windsor-Essex County for their wonderful caring staff. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be arranged during the month of April, a time and place to be advised. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
