Obituary of Robert Charles Smith

SMITH, Robert Charles "Charlie" April 13, 1938 - December 11, 2016 Charlie's life journey ended on December 11, 2016. Forever in the hearts of his wife, Denise (nee Chartier), his children; Jeffery (Irene), Jay (Theresa), Joel, Jerrol (Judy) and Michael Breen (Laurie), his grandchildren; Jeff, Terence, Adam, Cassie, Courtney and Rachel Smith, Kristin, Carley and Maddi Breen, his great grandchildren; Blayne Smith and Viola Breen, his brothers; William (Marilyn) and Lawrence (Sara), his best friend; William Armbruster and his "fur friends"; Cooper and Lola. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Doris Smith, his sister Patricia and his brother Bruce. Charlie was an employee of Dominion Shores Ltd. and Elias Markets. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Charlie's life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 1-4 p.m. at the Fogolar Furlan Club (Dante Costa Room), 1800 North Service Rd., Windsor. Tributes will begin at 1:30 p.m. Donations made to the Hospice of Windsor-Essex County would be appreciated by the family.
