Obituary of Arthur Laforet

LAFORET, Arthur Kenneth "Joe" Passed away at Windsor Regional Hospital " Met. Campus on October 9, 2016 after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Janice (nee Grouix). Loving father of Scott (Christine). Cherished grandfather of Katlin and Andrew. Joe is survived by his sister Paula (Ray), their children Rochelle and Beth and his special Aunt Dolly. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Arlie (nee Shea). Joe worked for General Motors for 28 years and was part of the U.S. Navy for 6.5 years. Following Joe"s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration of Joe"s life will take place at the Giovanni Caboto Club, 2175 Parent Ave., Windsor on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 2 " 6 p.m with an afternoon prayer service. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Joe to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Cremation arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
