Obituary of Edward Pearce

PEARCE, Edward "Ted" 1921-2016 Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, one of nine children. Passed away 4 days shy of his 95th birthday. He was married to the love of his life Christina (2015) for 71 years. He is predeceased by two sons; Edward, 2005 (Bev) and Darry, 1996 (Jan). He is survived by his son Garry (Gael) and daughter Linda (Bert), 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Ted was a veteran of the 2nd World War, where he met Chris in the air force. They had 4 children and lived in Moose Jaw, SK for a short time, but spent the majority of their lives together in Windsor. Ted worked for New York Central Rail Road where he was the Yard Master. He was a long-time member of the Salvation Army. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Ted"s life will take place at the Salvation Army, 1201 Grand Maris Rd. W., on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 1 p.m. Cremation arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
