Obituary of Georgine Mailloux

MAILLOUX, Georgine (nee Ghanam) Passed away peacefully at Hospice of Erie Shores, Leamington on August 19, 2016 with her family at her side. Beloved wife of Eugene Mailloux. Loving mother of Francis Mailloux (Sara) and Ron Mailloux (Sue) of B.C. Cherished Sita of Trinity, Taylor, Aidan, Brent (Samantha), Bree-ann (Jason) and Brittney. Great grandmother of Lakin, Everette and Damek. Survived by her brothers; John Ghanam (Margie) of B.C., David Ghanam (late Claudette), Jimmy Ghanam (Louise) and Tom Ghanam (late Carol). Predeceased by brothers; Fuade Ghanam (late Margaret), Michael Ghanam (Betty) and her sister Genevieve Mousseau (late Earl). Georgine was a hairdresser in the Belle River community for many years. She was a member of the C.W.L at St. Simon and St. Jude Parish. Georgine and Eugene enjoyed their retirement together, spending much time travelling and camping in their motorhome. She was a good friend to many in the community, her ear to listen was always available and she will be missed. A special thank you to cousin Tammy Hillman, your support and care for Georgine and the family will forever be cherished. Also a special thank you to the entire team at Hospice of Erie Shores, Leamington, your care and compassion will always be remembered. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Georgine"s name to the Hospice of Erie Shores. As per Georgine"s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will take place at St. Simon and St. Jude Parish on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 3 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery at a later date.
