Obituary of Wen Chu Xiao

XIAO, Wen Chu Passed away peacefully on August 9, 2016 at H.D.G.H. " Dr Y. Emara Centre at the age of 87. Loving husband of Xiulan Ren. Cherished father of Nancy (Ning) Xiao (Jay "Zhe" Lin) of Pittsburgh, PA, Tian Xiao (Li Zhang) of Santa Barbara, CA and Zuomei Xiao of Switzerland. Grandpa of Schell Lin, Leon Lin, Victor S. Xiao, Daisy S. Xiao, Andrew S. Xiao, Julia Wang and Victoria Wang. Predeceased by his brother Xian Guo Xiao and his sisters: Yuan Qing Xiao and Huan Yuan Xiao. Wen Chu will be missed by his 14 loving nieces and nephews of Hubei, China. Wen Chu retired as a professor of Material Science at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology after 26 years. He moved to Windsor, Ontario in 1989 where he enjoyed his retirement with his wife and visiting family for over 20 years. He will be forever remembered for his kindness, generosity, compassion and devotion to his family, both locally and abroad. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date in Xiantao, Hubei, China. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
