Obituary of Rudoplh Joseph Carriere

CARRIERE, Rudolph Joseph "Chub" 1929-2016 Passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on August 4, 2016. Cherished husband of Rose. Predeceased by wife Irene (2010). Beloved father of Jo-Anne (Bob), Rudy (Sheila), Alan (Elaine) and Cathy (Tony). Devoted Papa to Ryan (Natasha), Amy (Mike), Joel (Robin), Candice, Casey, Katie and Anthony. Great-grandfather of Kayla, Tristan, Noah and Maggie. Survived by his brother Jack (Miriam) and his sister Carol. Fondly remembered by Vince Franco and Rose's children; Jean-Louis (Karen) and Gisele (Mark). Chub, as he was known by many, was an avid bowler, card player and Jack-of-all-trades. He will be missed by many. In kindness, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Chub's life will take place at the Windsor Moose Lodge (777 Tecumseh Rd. W.) on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Cremation arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
