Obituary of Elizabeth May Jeffrey

JEFFREY, Elizabeth Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital " Ouellette Campus on May 08, 2016 with her family at her side. Daughter of the late Adam and Peggy Bruce. Beloved wife of David Jeffrey for 33 years. Predeceased by husbands; Dwiane Walton and Norman Burbridge. Loving mother of Kathy and Greg Herbertson. Adoring Grandma of Nathan and Nora Herbertson. She will be missed by her cousins; Jim and Gladys Drummond of Oakville, Elaine Foley and Marilyn Dockeray (late Ronald), of Windsor as well as her best friend Beth Kales (late Joe) and family. Betty worked for many, many years at the old City Hall building in Windsor, which is where she met her late husband Norman. Predeceased by her brother Jack Bruce (late Verian). A special heartfelt thank you to the wonderful nurses and care team at Windsor Regional Hospital " Ouellette Campus; emergency, 4th and 5th floor, for their fantastic and compassionate care, it will forever be appreciated! Following Betty"s wishes, cremation and a private family service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.
