Obituary of Charles Keith Clinansmith

Keith Clinansmith, 64, of Windsor, ON, passed away in his sleep at his home with family members by his side on May 1, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Keith is survived by his best friend and wife, Lisa Martinello-Clinansmith of 26 years, son Neal (Bobbie Sharpe), son Jason (Vicki), son Craig (Tracy), daughter Krista (Jim), son Keith (Lindsay) and his brother Tom Clinansmith of Guelph, as well as many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Predeceased by his parents, Charles "Bud" and Louise Clinansmith. Keith was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. Keith loved golf and was a huge Detroit Lions fan. He was a Big Brother and a proud supporter of Foster Plan Canada. His children will warmly remember their travels to out-of-town and home Lions" games. Keith also enjoyed leisure time with his wife; whether it was laying on a sandy tropical beach, going for walks, bike rides or relaxing poolside in the backyard. A heartfelt thank you to Myles from VON, "You"re the Best!" A special thank you to Transition to Betterness staff and the medical team of Windsor Regional Hospital for their exceptional care. Donations to T2B, Pajama Angels, VON, Hospice of Windsor-Essex County and Big Brothers would be gratefully accepted in lieu of flowers. At Keith"s request, there will not be a funeral service.
