Dear Allsop Family, I am so sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences at this time. Something that I have found to be a great source of comfort are the promises found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4. These scriptures along with others show that in the very near future God is going to not only bring our loved ones back to life but he is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we deal with sorrow, pain and even death itself. It is my sincere hope that these promises bring your family comfort at this time. Once again I am so sorry for your loss.

Hi, On behalf of myself and the Unifor Windsor Regional Environment Council, I would like to express our condolences at the untimely loss of Brother Mike Allsop. Mike held various positions on the executive board of the Windsor Regional Environment Council and was a strong advocate for renewable energy. He lent his expertise and skills to the goal of transitioning to a renewable energy-based, environmentally sustainable future. He was involved in the Green Corridor project at the University of Windsor and helped launch the UWREC Green jobs campaign. He joined with UWREC and the community as a member of the Ontario Green Collar Jobs Coalition in 2008 to advocate for renewable energy jobs in Windsor. He was justifiably proud that he was responsible for the installation of the wind turbine in front of the David Suzuki public school. He will be missed. Mark Bartlett
