Obituary of Rita M. Storjohann

STORJOHANN, Rita Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on March 12, 2016 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Storjohann (2013). Loving mother of Susan (Joe Pignanelli), Pauline Storjohann and Theresa Thornton. Cherished Nanny of Amanda Mayne, Tyler Thornton and Carly and Francesco Pignanelli. Great-Nana of Jack Mayne-Vanlare. She will be missed by many foster grandchildren, presently Kaylie and Katy. Survived by her siblings; Bill Doering (Sheri) and Helen Deschamps. Predeceased by sisters Grace Bucholtz (late Don) and Dorothy Furgoch (Steve). A special thank you to the Windsor Regional Hospital " Met. Campus Emergency Staff, Doctors and Nursing staff on 6 North for their care and compassion. Donations to the Alzheimer Society in Rita"s memory would be appreciated. Following Rita"s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will be held in Pembroke, ON at a later date.
