Obituary of Gwyneth Jean Watts

WATTS, Gwyneth Jean (nee Rees) It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwyneth on February 21, 2016. Dear mother of Lynne (late Dennis), Peter (Janis), Susan (Tomas) Claire Providenti (David) and David (Jennifer). Loving Grandmother of Collette, Laurie, Leslie, Abby and Emily. Great-grandmother of Nathan, Kaylin, Gavin, Zachary, Alicia and Brynley. Born December 21, 1927 in Cardiff, Wales, Gwyneth and her husband, Kenneth (2005), emigrated to Windsor in 1953. Gwyneth worked as a nurse at Met Hospital and later returned to university where she studied French and Education and worked as a teacher. Gwyneth was an avid reader and traveller, and a proud Welshwoman. Thank you to the caring staff of the Palliative Program at the Dr. Y. Emara Centre, Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
