Obituary of Leon John Kaminsky

KAMINSKY, Leon Born on April 11, 1931 in Colver, Pennsylvania to the late John and Anna (nee Yancy) Kaminsky. Passed away on January 30, 2016 at Windsor Regional Hospital " Met. Campus. Survived by his wife Dorothy and her children, a special granddaughter Tara and his four legged friend Chloe who was always by his side during his illness. Brother of Ted, Theresa and Irene. Predeceased by siblings Julie, Andrew and Bob. Survived by many nieces and nephews. The Kaminsky family moved to Detroit when Leon was 15 and he served his country in the U.S. Navy. Leon later worked for Ford Rouge Plant, Dearborn, Michigan for 30 years. He retired in 1995 and he enjoyed many years of golfing. As per Leon"s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
