Obituary of Dolores Campeau

CAMPEAU, Dolores Marie Smith (nee Costello) Passed away on August 25th, 2015 in her 85th year with her children by her side. Beloved daughter of Patrick John (1979) and Doris (1993) Costello. Former wife of the late Joseph E. Campeau (2002) and Robert Roy Smith (2004). Beloved mother to Robert (Bob) Smith and Susan Gagnon, James (Jay) Smith and Carrie Smith. Mother-in-law to Bob"s late wife Cathy (1996). Dear grandmother to Dylan Beneteau, Rachel Beneteau and Alexandra Smith. Dolores graduated from St. Mary"s Academy in 1947. In 1949, she graduated from the Western Ontario Conservatory of Music, 1st class honours in piano. The following year she graduated as an X-Ray Tech from the American College of Radiology. In 1954, she obtained her Associate Degree in Music from the Western Ontario Conservatory of Music. Dolores loved her music, and loved to be on stage. She was an accomplished singer and actress who was a lifetime member with the Windsor Light Opera. Dolores participated in many productions over the years including performing in several lead roles.
