Obituary of Donald MacKinnon

Passed away peacefully on April 13, 2015 at the age of 84 with his family at his side. Beloved husband for 41 years to Sandy (nee Moore) and by his puppy Gina. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Mary. Survive by brothers John (Helen), Allan (Shelly), Ronald (Alice) and predeceased by sisters Mary, Margaret, JoAnne, Catherine, Theresa, Marion, and Anne. He will be loved and missed by many nieces and nephews. Donald is a life time member of the Essex Scottish Reg., Past Pipe Major, and the Legion branch 578. At Donald's request cremation has taken place and a memorial celebration will take place on Saturday May 2, 2015 from 2-5 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 201 (103 Talbot St. N., Essex, On). Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE 519-254-2585. In kindness, memorial donations may be made in memory of Donald to the Hospice of Windsor.
