Obituary of Aila Maija-Liisa Lain

LAIN, Aila Maija-Liisa (nee Kalijarvi) Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 2, 2015 at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Toivo Lain. Cherished mother of Roy Lain, Jari Laasanen, Kari Laasanen (Patricia Naismith), Sylvia Lain (Doug Leddy), and Leila Laprade (Claude Laprade). Dear grandmother of the late Robert Lain, Wes Jolicoeur (Karrie Van Reek), Timothy Laasanen (Felicia Lynn Nael), Erik Laasanen (Crystal Popp), Holly Laasanen, Wilson Laasanen, Justin Leddy, and Nicole Leddy and their families. Great-grandmother of Haylee Jolicoeur, and Mackenzie Alexis Laasanen. Sister of Matti Kalijarvi, , Raili Hiirsimaki, and Svante Kalijarvi. Aila will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, and her Sudbury clan, Jarmo and Nicky, Mark, Tuija and Pentti, and Hiilka and their families. Cremation has taken place with a small family gathering. Burial and services to take place in Sudbury, Ontario at a future date.
