May our dearest Aunt Audrey rest in the peace she so deserves. She will be missed by all of her nieces and nephews.
Reg, Cindy, Bonnie, and Bill,
Alan and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies on the passing of your mother, my Aunt Audrey. She was such a wonderful person. She had a welcoming smile every time we saw her and such a positive, uplifting attitude. When she asked about our family it was always with enthusiasm and interest and when she shared stories of what you and your kids were up to we could see the intense love she had for her family in her eyes.
We always enjoyed visiting with her when we had the chance. One visit I asked her for a few crowns of her infamous rhubarb and she willingly gave me some and it flourished. It may seem silly, but the patch is called Aunt Audrey’s rhubarb patch and her name goes with everything made with it. I decided to move it one year so I called her for advice and she laughed and said “dig a new hole, stick the crown in and walk away because you can never kill it.” Whenever I walk by it in my yard I think of her standing on the back porch and explaining to me how to dig it out and care for it if I want a good crop. It will always be “Aunt Audrey’s Rhubarb Patch” and I will continue to cherish my fond memories of her when I tend it.
I would say that your mom, my dad and Aunt Fran have been the epitome of what a sibling relationship should be. They have supported each other through the ups and downs in life grew even closer as they visited, lunched and challenged each other in card and dice games. We’ve heard stories of these get together and stories of their childhood and how they persevered together. We can all learn from their closeness and support of each other. A piece is missing , but in hearts forever.
Your mom helped her neighbourhood by seeing that stray cats were spayed or neutered for many years. In honour of Aunt Audrey’s memory we have made a donation to a stray cat rescue.
Dear cousins, you have wonderful memories of a beautiful, positive woman who never lost her wonderful perspective on life. It has been an honour to be her niece and I cherish the memories I have of her.

I have known Miss Audrey all my life through my Uncle Reg and Aunt Marj. Even though I am just a teenager, I still have good memories of playing cards with her and helping with yard work. It was always nice to come into Miss Audrey's house after working in the yard, to visit with a wonderful lady who was always a joy to be with. I will miss my fun visits with her. My sincere condolences to her family.
Love, Grace Bural
