Obituary of Brad Ward

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Brad Alan Ward of Windsor, Ontario at the age of 62. Dear son of the late Violet and Rod Ward of Oliphant, Ontario. Loving brother of Sharon Edwards of Chapleau, Ontario and the late Kim Robinson of Windsor, Ontario. Cherished brother-in-law of Leonard Robinson of Grand Bend, Ontario and Uncle of Amanda Robinson of Windsor, Ontario. Cherished father of Danielle Ward (Victoria Brunet) of Windsor, Ontario. Loving stepfather to Joseph Lasorda (Wendy Tilley) and Papa to Joey and Nathan Lasorda of Windsor, Ontario. Brad raised his children with former spouse Lu-Ann Cyr of Kingsville, Ontario. Adored best friend of Paul Shively of Toledo, Ohio. Brad was retired from Chrysler Canada where he had made many lasting friendships over the years. Brad was an avid fisherman and hockey buff extraordinaire, never missing a chance to root for the Montreal Canadians. Brad’s love of music was apparent to everyone that knew and loved him. He was a lifelong fan of Pink, City & Colour and Blue Rodeo. Brad was always happiest at the cottage with family, sitting around the bonfire with a guitar in hand. Brad’s family is eternally grateful that he recently moved back to Windsor to be closer to his kids and grandkids after being a longtime resident of Oliphant, Ontario.
