I just learned of Ted's passing. Ted was the best friend of my dad, Bud Lacroix. They worked together at GM, and retired together the same year. In later years, Ted often came to visit Dad in London and they enjoyed lunch together at the Mandarin. When I spoke with Ted after my dad's passing, he told me that in all the years that they knew each other, they had never had a disagreement. They often teased each other about who was older, Ted's birthday was about 10 days after my dad's. They were the same age most of the year. They always kept in touch throughout the year, whether he was in Arizona or Windsor. He was a wise and lived a good life. He and my dad lived through challenging times, and shared that history together. This would have been their 100th birthday. Rest in peace, Ted.
