Obituary of Janet Ann Atherton

It is with profound sadness that the family of Janet Atherton announces her peaceful passing on May 11, 2023 at Met Hospital with her Husband John of 57 years at her side. Cherished Mother of Paul (Denise) and Shelley (Steve). Adored Grammy of Richelle, Bradley and Kurtis, who were the treasures of her life. Beloved Daughter of the late Russell and Marion Major. Sister of Lorna Beaudoin (Bernard), Beverly White (late Gary), Brother of late Ted Major (Shirley), Doug Major (Gin), Reg Major (Laurie), Tim Major and the late Gary Major. Will also be missed by her in-laws, nieces, nephews and all her dear friends. Special Thanks to Met Hospital, Hospice of Windsor and VON for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Janet’s Life will be announced at a later date.
