Obituary of Hilary Joan White

WHITE, Hilary Joan July 19, 1941 – May 6, 2023 Passed away peacefully on May 6, 2023 in Windsor, Ontario. Hilary began her teaching career in England and after three years she came to Canada in a teacher exchange program and never left. She travelled back to her home and family every chance she was able, often accompanied by her dear friend Sheila Parent. Hilary loved teaching and the many friends and students through her chosen profession. All who knew her loved her also. During her thirty years teaching in Canada she was a teacher, Vice Principal, and Principal for the Windsor Board of Education. In her retirement, Hilary and Sheila enjoyed travelling to their home in Florida and other places that called to them. A special thank you to the staff at Seasons Royal Oak Village in LaSalle and Huron Lodge Long Term Care Home in Windsor. Both of these settings provided excellent and outstanding care for Hilary. Hilary will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends. Donations in memory of Hilary could be made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex.
