Obituary of William Shepherd

William Robert Shepherd February 6th, 1937 to April 15th, 2023 It is with great sadness that we announce our father has entered into eternal rest at home with his loving family by his side on April 15th, 2023 Reunited with his beloved wife, June (2015) Dear father to Robert (Kim), David (2022)(Maryann), Cheryl (Chris), Steven(Rose) and Mary(Chris) Grandfather to Rob (Rachelle), Ryan(Natasha), Laura(Charlie), Jeffrey, Sarah(Bryan), Melissa(Jordan), Timothy, Katie(Jake), Rachel(Brandon), Bradley(Sydney) and Nicki Great Grandfather to Kayla, Austyn, Sophie, Abbie, Karter, Ethan, Parker, Noelle, River, Lucas, Mason and Rider Predeceased by his parents Franklin Leo Shepherd and Mary Ileen McClellan Brother-in-law to Barb and the late Cyril Smith, Sheila Oakley, Jean Conrad, Brian Oakley and the late Patrick Oakley Dad retired from Chrysler Canada after 32yrs of service as a Millwright where he then followed his true passion as a self taught Master Carpenter. There was nothing our Dad couldn't build. Dad loved life and always said "you only live once!" Snowmobiling, camping, boating, fishing and travelling were just a few of the many things he loved to do over the years. At family gatherings Dad always enjoyed a cold beer, some Honey Jack and an extra big chocolate bar. We will miss him dearly. Thank you to Sarah and Juanelle for keeping Dad comfortable in his final days. At Dad's request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
