Obituary of Dawn Marie McLarty

Dawn Marie McLarty September 4, 1959 - March 15, 2023 Dawn passed peacefully in her sleep while watching her favorite television crime shows. Dawn has now reunited with her mother Elaine Pettit (2022), sister Laura Pettit (1996), and Grandson Gavin Taylor (2017). Dawn is survived by her brothers Michael Pettit, and Douglas Pettit (Cheryle). Dawn is also survived by her children Jennifer Lynn Taylor (Keith), Crystal Lee Pettit, and Russell Daniel McLarty. Dawn also had three surviving grandchildren Taylan Dargin, Gage Taylor, and Grant Taylor. Dawn will surely be missed by her extended family and many others. She spent her day chatting with friends, feeding the squirrels, and blue jays on the porch. She also loved listening to music, crafts and was an excellent cook. Sundays were spent at church. Dawn was always lending a helping hand to those she cared about. At Dawn’s request, a small family gathering was held followed by cremation.
