Obituary of Ignacio Chacon II

Ignacio Chacon II September 3, 1934 – February 5, 2023 It’s with saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Ignacio Chacon II on February 5, 2023 at the age of 88. Cherished and devoted husband of 60 beautiful years to Heritage Chacon. Beloved father to Ignacio Chacon III (Christine) and Edmundo Chacon (Anna). Proud Grandpa to Chantel Koehler (Mitch), Alyssa Chacon (Joe Purdue) and Ashley Glovasky. Predeceased by his parents Nicolasa and Ignacio Chacon. Dear brother to: the late Alicia; the late Lucia; Mario (Maria-Elena); and Refugio. Dear friend of Sergio (Nereyda). Ignacio will also be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. Born in Mexico, Ignacio immigrated to Windsor in 1967 with his young family. He retired from Chrysler after 35 years of service. In his retirement, he was a handyman, enjoyed working on cars, watching movies, and playing video games. Above all else, Ignacio’s greatest accomplishment, pride, and joy was his family. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Ignacio’s family will be celebrating his memory privately.
