Obituary of Gail Elizabeth Liebenow

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the family of Gail Elizabeth Liebenow (Naylor) announces her peaceful passing on January 24th 2023 in her home in Windsor, ON. Beloved wife and soulmate of 57 years to Ingo Liebenow. Cherished mother to Tammy Liebenow (Lee), Teri Walton (Alan) and Tracie Liebenow. Forever remembered by her grandchildren Jesse & Kurtis Walton, Trista Brown (Shaun) Connor and Digger (Cherish) Great Nana to Ally, Elise, Bri, Owen, Jace and Jhett. Loving sister to Dodi Fitzpatrick (Mike), Joanne Lapensee (predeceased Larry) Amazing Auntie to Debbie, Kellie, Kristine, Halton, Jonah, Bowman. Great Auntie to Jordan, Karsyn, Kaydyn, Rae Lynn, Mariah, Brendan and Dylan. Special sister in law to Linda Simpson. Predeceased by her mother Audrey and father Gordon Naylor. Gail will be fondly remembered by her many close friends from all over including Texas (the Posada family), Kawartha Lakes (Pleasant Point Crew ) and Windsor friends and neighbors. Over the years she had many friends through baseball leagues, dart leagues, camping groups, Super bowl parties and travel. She also made many friends over the 25 years working at Canadian Tire in Lindsay ON. Gail made everyone she met feel more like a family member than a friend. She will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by all. Thank you to the Windsor hospice and St. Elizabeth nurses and PSWs, for all of their compassion and care. As per Gail’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
