Obituary of Richard Dawson

DAWSON, Richard May 19, 1973 – January 17, 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 after a year long battle with mesothelioma at the age of 49 in Windsor, Ontario. Rich passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his British and Canadian family. Dear husband of Maggie (nee Thrasher). Father to Kayleigh (fiancé Sammy). Son of Janice Morris and the late Stephen Dawson. Son-in-law to Ken and Geri Thrasher. Brother to Michelle (Frances) O’Brien. Brother-in-law to Max (Kim) Thrasher and Sam (Amanda) Thrasher. Uncle to Aaron, Jake, and Uncle Richie-Mo to Ben and Luke. Special nephew to Deb and Neil Davies. Richard will also be dearly missed by his best friend, Harry, extended family, and friends. In respect of Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE.
