Obituary of Darcy Alan Kurzuk

KURZUK, Darcy Alan April 1, 1960 - December 24, 2022 It’s with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Darcy Alan Kurzuk on December 24, 2022 at the age of 62. Beloved husband to Christine Kurzuk. Cherished father to Christopher Kurzuk (Sina), Kyle Kurzuk (Sara), Kevin Kurzuk, and the late Kris Russell. Proud grandpa to Mataya Kurzuk, Aaliyah Kurzuk, Justin Ly, Serena Ly, Caleb Kurzuk, Avery Kurzuk, Kasha Kurzuk, Penelope Kurzuk, Mary-Jane Kurzuk, and Arihanna & Josh. Forever remembered by his siblings Wendy West and Greg West (Sharon). Dearly missed by his mother Sylvia West, niece Alannah Wigle-Sigrist, and friend Gayle Edginton. Darcy is predeceased by his grandparents John & Mary Kurzuk, Aunt Ruth Hardaker, and mother-in-law Euda Russell. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends. Darcy was a proud Brentwood Alumni and A.A. Member, and he sponsored and helped many throughout his over 30 years of sobriety. He had a passion for antique cars, owning many throughout the years with his most recent being a 1940 Chrysler Coupe. Darcy was a kid at heart and cherished his collection of over 400 Minions. He was also a baseball coach and coached the Windsor West Little League. As per Darcy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
