Obituary of Lois Lawrance

LAWRANCE (Rogers), Lois. (May 1940 - December 2022). Edward (Ted) Lawrance announces the passing of his beloved wife of 62 years. Lois was a gentle soul who adored Ted, their daughter Kelli-an and her pet cats. She was a wonderful sister to Sharron Parent (Clare) and Garry Rogers (deceased 1996), and aunt to several nieces and nephews. As the years passed, Lois made many friends playing cards, shuffleboard, golf, and bowling. She enjoyed live music and dancing. After retiring from the Ministry of Natural Resources in Chatham, winters in Florida became a decades-long tradition. Lois is remembered for her quick wit and delightful sense of humour. Lois’s family thanks the staff of Heron Terrace for their compassionate care during her time there. A private service was held. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice Cremation (Dougall) 519-254-2585. Donations to Windsor Essex County Humane Society would make Lois’s heart purr.
