Obituary of Linda Tetley

It is with heavy hearts the family mourns the passing of Linda Marie Tetley on November 4, 2022 after a short but fierce fight with respiratory illnesses. She was a Life Time Honorary Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #255. She was an avid and successful member of the Legion Pool League, earning a number of trophies and her success created many stories for her to share with her loving family during Christmas Dinners. She was generous with her time and contributed to various charities such as the War Amps, March of Dimes, having been stricken with Polio at a young age. Linda was a loving Daughter to Phyllis Dobsky (deceased 2016) and she is survived by her siblings: Brian Dobsky & Cindy Lucas, Donna & Gary Nouvion, Bernadette & Paul Hildebrand, Brenda & Kevin Ascott and Larry and Lisa Dobsky. Her nieces and nephews: Greg, Tanya, Daren, Lauren, Amy, Ryan, Jesse, Michael (2014), Jared, Travis, Rebecca, Neally, Dean and Jordan as well her many great nieces and nephews. Longtime friend, Derrek Logan. The family would like to thank Cousin Terry Hotzon for making the arrangements for Linda to be at peace in her final resting place with her dear mother and other loving family members. A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #255 on Thursday, November 10th, 2022 between 15:00-18:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the March of Dimes. Linda was a beautiful soul, both humble and kind with a wicked sense of humor. To quote Hunter S. Thompson- “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!” (Hunter S. Thompson, The Proud Highway: Saga of a Desperate Southern Gentleman, 1955-1967)
