Obituary of Alexandra Ollie Cave

Alexandra ‘Ollie” Cave (Nee Mamayek) of Windsor, Ontario, passed away peacefully at the age of 96 years on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia. Ollie was predeceased by her husband William “Ted’ Cave (1991). She will be missed by her son Ed (Lori) Cave of Petrolia and Cathy Preston of Windsor, her grandchildren Emily (Dustin) Aubin, Tyler (Jingchan) Cave, Abigail (Anthony) Ricciuti and Ross Cave and Michael (Sheilagh) Preston and great grandchildren Aden and Theodore Cave, Aliza and Alex Ricciuti and Atticus Preston. Ollie is the daughter of the late Mary and Ignatz Mamayek and was the last surviving sibling of Steven, Pauline, Charles, Henry Alphonse, Marian, Ignatz and Victor. Ollie will forever be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humour and her compassion for animals. She leaves behind many friends at Solidarity Towers having lived there for 46 years. She will also be missed by her sister in law Patricia Bunelle and niece Judy Ayers. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at Victoria Memorial Gardens in Windsor.
