Obituary of Barbara Marie Kirk

KIRK, Barbara Marie July 23, 1926 – October 4, 2022 It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Marie Kirk announces her passing on October 4, 2022 at the age of 96. Cherished mother to Barbara Ann Kirk. Forever remembered by her grandchildren James Kirk & Sherri Nelson-Jones (David) and Great Grandchildren: Larry Nelson and Justin Jones. Predeceased by her twin brother James Forbes (Bing), Mother Alice Forbes (nee Ritchie) and Father James Delisle Forbes. Barbara was previously a member of the Legion branch 143 and was recently living at Regency Park Nursing Home where she was cared for by a loving, caring staff. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Regency Park for their wonderful years of service caring for Barbara as well as to the team of doctors & nurses at Hotel Dieu Ouellette campus for caring for Barbara and making her comfortable during her last days. As per Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Dougall), 519-254-2585.
